Creative Commons / Attributing Images

For one of our cybersmart task this week, we have been learning about how Creative Commons Licenses allow us to share our creative ideas with the world in a safe and secure manor. It also allows us to choose the degree as to how and which parts we would like them to share. For example for some things we just might want them to be able to view or listen to our creation, and for other things we might want them to be able edit and remix our creations. We have also been learning about attributing where we get things from, basically attaching a link to where we got the image, video or text from. We really like how explore does this for and recommend using explore for images to save you time!

  1. Kia ora Room 7,
Thanks for sharing your posters and tips about finding images that you have the right to use. I liked looking through your posters and finding out a bit more about what you are interested in. Great to see your links attached to the pictures that you sourced from the web! Next time we might talk a bit more about designing the layout of your poster to make sure it looks eye catching and encourages people to look at / read the content.

To support our learning we ask that you comment as follows:
1. Something POSITIVE - begin with a greeting then say something you like about what we have shared
2. Something THOUGHTFUL - a comment that will mean something to us to let us know that you read / watched or listened to what we had to say. Please use any language.
3. Something HELPFUL - give us some ideas for next time or ask us a question
Encourage us to make another post.
