This term for maths one of our focuses is measurement. For this we have been learning about area and perimeter. As part of preparing your students for the future and giving them the skills to be succesful out their in the world we have been using a free architech design platform in order to learn how to build our own homes from scratch. We have been learning how to design a house from the start with floor plans right to the very end with all the finishing interior and exterior touches.

I like how you have translated your learning about area and perimeter into creating useable spaces in each of the different rooms and how the rooms flow from one to another. There are a couple of plans there that I think I would like my next house to look like! Did you find it easy to use this design platform? Ngā mihi, Mrs Penno
